Pride of the West Class of 2026

While I don't have favorites- I really love all the bands & teams I work with- I have a special place in my heart for two bands because I'm lucky enough to be an alumni parent for BOTH! Ridge Band, The Pride of the West, is one of those. My youngest was a member when he was in high school, and I have very fond memories of being a part of all the excitement of watching your child up close and working with amazing parents and staff!! It's one of the reasons I strive to be a part of so many bands, and get banners to every kid on the field on Friday nights. Marching Band is a core <3 memory for me, and for anyone who gets to be a part of it. This year Ridge wanted to match the theme of their competition show. Some bands stick with school colors and traditional school spirit focused banners, some like to match their performances. This year Ridge switched to something more specific and the banners reflect the story that will unfold this year with their performances on the field! I designed the banners to not copy the show graphics exactly, but to coordinate with the fonts the show designer used, and the vibe of the shows story- and something maybe a little Arizona Highways too? I love a detailed composite and I am trying for banners that feel like movie posters because the students are stars!
