SO happy to meet Ironwood Band!!
Excited for my first session with Ironwood Eagles marching band! We met up inside to beat that July heat and got senior banner portraits, plus I played with some flares for a set of more casual portraits. I brought my mobile studio so I was able to create fantastic light and really show off how cool these kids are! Later we went out to their stands for buddy candid photos (everyones favorites including me!) and a full band band under an amazing sunset. This is not a photoshopped sunset. Two of the senior are also photographers and I was excited to show them the sky we captured! It's always fun to meet young photographers just getting started and excited about photos. Gotta love strobes- I am a huge natural light fan too but for a group photo or any photo where you also want to show these amazing Arizona sunsets they only was to expose for BOTH subjects and the sky is flash!! It helped that I had on a wider lens too :)
