This year the Deer Valley Unified School District Marching Band Exhibition was hosted by Sandra Day O’Connor High School. All five high school marching bands gather for an awesome night and the community and parents get a fun, free way to see all the amazing band shows in one spot! The evening begins with the trumpets joining together from each school playing the National Anthem. The DVUSD Fine Arts - Visual & Performing Arts Department is lead by Anna Backstrom, who also conducted "God Bless America" at the end of the evening before the kids joined the drumline jam, or hung out with friends from middle school now at different high schools, and even the hush hush 'Tuba Run' which kinda did but kinda didn't happen this year. IYKYK.
